Pi Lambda Omega Chapter is one of over 875 chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  The ladies of Pi Lambda Omega Chapter are fully committed to service primarily in the the Metro Louisville, KY community.  The chapter's community service projects are guided and inspired by the sorority's international service initiative, Global Leadership Through Timeless Service.  The chapter's community service initiatives are largely funded by grants from the Derby City Tea Rose Foundation.  The ladies of Pi Lambda Omega Chapter also posses spirit of sisterhood among one another.
